Usui Reiki is a form of alternative therapy that originated in Japan. It involves the transfer of energy from the practitioner to the patient to promote healing and relaxation. This is done through a series of hand positions either directly on or near the body. Usui Reiki is based on the idea that there is a universal life force energy that flows through all living things, and that by channeling this energy, practitioners can help their patients to heal both physically and emotionally.
